Purpose of the Role: The Project Coordinator is responsible for initiating, coordinating, and delivering projects aimed at improving the quality and service level of operations. The focus is on the
1. Project Management & Delivery
Objective: Projects are delivered within scope, time, and budget, achieving the intended results.
Key responsibilities:
Developing project plans, including objectives, scope, timelines, and budget
Coordinating project teams (internal and external)
Preparing and maintaining project plans (objectives, planning, scope, resources)
Monitoring progress, timelines, and budget
Identifying and managing risks and bottlenecks
Reporting on progress and results
Ensuring timely delivery and embedding of results within the organization
2. Process en System improvement
Objective: Improvements lead to a measurable increase in efficiency, quality, and service levels.
Key responsibilities:
Analyze existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
Identify and prioritize opportunities for optimization
Initiate and implement process and system improvements
Ensure new ways of working are effectively embedded within the organization
Evaluate implemented improvements to measure impact and ensure continuous enhancement
3. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Objective: To ensure effective collaboration and strong stakeholder alignment across all involved parties.
Key responsibilities:
Connect and engage internal and external stakeholders
Align expectations and manage interests
Build support and buy-in for changes
Facilitate meetings and decision-making processes
Act as the primary point of contact within projects
4. Driving Change
Objective: To actively drive projects forward and ensure that changes are effectively implemented.
Key responsibilities:
Take initiative and ownership within projects
Stimulate engagement and momentum within teams
Overcome resistance and remove barriers to progress
Maintain focus on achieving results and objectives
5. Quality & Results Assurance
Objective:
To ensure that intended gains, quality improvements, and service enhancements are sustainably achieved.
Key responsibilities:
Monitor KPIs and project outcomes
Ensure the proper embedding of implementations in processes and systems
Evaluate projects and capture lessons learned
Advise on further optimizations and improvements
